Fact-Check Policy

Laredo Pest Pro distinguishes between verified facts and general guidance. This page explains how each type of information is sourced.

Company facts

Address, phone, website, and founding year for each listed company are treated as factual claims. Each is sourced from either the company's own website or a reputable aggregator. The source is reflected in the listing's verification badge. Where aggregators disagree (for example, a street-number variance), we publish the BBB-canonical form and note the discrepancy.

Pricing ranges

Cost ranges shown on this site are typical ranges for the South Texas Plains market, drawn from publicly visible pricing on company websites and industry averages. They are guidance, not quotes. Actual quotes depend on home size, infestation severity, and treatment method. We do not present these ranges as commitments from any specific company.

Licensing

Texas requires pest control businesses to hold a Structural Pest Control Business License (TPCL) issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture. We do not automatically verify each company's license status, because license status can change and we cannot guarantee real-time accuracy. Every listing carries a licensing note with a direct link to the TDA SPCS website so readers can verify before contracting.

Pest and climate context

Local pest-pressure descriptions (species, seasonality, corridor patterns) are based on the Laredo metro's Hot semi-arid (BSh) climate and publicly available entomological references. They describe typical patterns, not guarantees for any specific property.
